Hey there! Jennifer Jewell here. 

I grew up in the small country town of Luray, Virginia, a place where my love for sports began. In 2008, a high school teammate invited me to an event where I came face-to-face with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and gave my life to the Lord. As I studied at Bridgewater College, I continued to be involved with athletics and served as a student leader in my campus FCA huddle. My ties with FCA continued through back-to-back summer internships in South Africa, where the Lord confirmed and strengthened a desire to work with athletes and coaches in full-time ministry, a beautiful dream of serving the Lord in the realm of sports. 

In 2015, the Lord called me to Raleigh, North Carolina, to serve as a softball coach and a special educator within the Wake County Public School System. Throughout those seven years, I continued to volunteer with the campus and camp ministries of FCA. Watching God at work in this area has been a sweet privilege, and I find great pleasure in serving as the South Wake Area Representative!
