Champions Week Watch Parties

How to Gather As An FCA Family This Fall

One of the ways that you can serve as a Champion during Champions Week, is to host a Watch Party. Watch Parties will occur during the week of November 16th - 20th, at the home of a willing person or couple. Champions will reach out to 3-5 couples/individuals to join them in the viewing of the Celebration of Champions video, and will assist in the collection of any donations given by your guests that evening.

COVID-19 Precautions and Recommendations

To adhere to local guidelines, and to ensure that everyone gathering under the banner of FCA remains healthy, we recommend the following for a Champions Week Watch Party:

Guest count is kept below 25 people
The gathering space is such that couples/individuals are able to spread out and distance from each other (outdoor spaces, porches, patios are good options)
Masks are worn if guests are within 6 feet of someone else

Food

A list of restaurants that are partnering with Triangle FCA is shown below. These restaurants will either provide a discount to the host, or offer a portion of funds spent to return to FCA. Please keep checking back for more local restaurants being added!

Celebration of Champions Video

Watch Parties will be centered around the Celebration of Champions video. Video will be accessible on Triangle FCA's YouTube page beginning on November 16th. However, a DVD copy of the video can also be requested for a Watch Party showing.

Other Details

The presence of an FCA staff member can be requested to speak at your Watch Party in whatever capacity needed
Each Watch Party host will be given a packet of materials such as giving cards, brochures, FCA magazines, etc. that can be distributed to guests at your event
In each packet will be a self-addressed and stamped envelope for returning funds raised that evening
